It is with great sadness that I have to tell everyone that Flash has gone to the Bridge.  The shelter workers did this because they beleived he was in too much pain and did not want to prolong his suffering.  The woman I know who was dealing with the shelter says that they loved Flash and he did not die alone and unloved.  I believe her.

Thanks to all of you who offered donations, help with transport and fostering him.  It's heartbreaking that we could not save him, but if he was in pain, then it was the best and hardest decision.  He is now running pain free at the Bridge.  

Go hug your houndies and tell them they are loved.  Even though Flash doesn't need our help now there are so many other dogs that do.  It would be a wonderful way to remember Flash is you were to call your local shelter or rescue and volunteer to help them out.
