[Dailydrool] Birdseed Story

Momma here. When Elder Clara and Daisy arrived at my home, we had a cockatiel named Lucille. We wondered how the girls would react, but since their foster mom also had a bird, we figured it would be a sniff and go, which it was-no problem, but Lucille gave it her best shot at getting noticed. Lucille was about 5, young for a cockatiel, she spit seeds at the dogs, and me, she really had a attitude-one night, as we ate supper hubby said good burgers dear-I replied, you best enjoy them, this is the first time I have paid full price for hamburger in ages-the words were barely out of my mouth-Lucille squaked and fell off her perch dead as a doornail.
End of Lucille, birdseeds, and full price hamburger. 
That was my birdseed story.
