The calendar girls today look especially nice, but there's one of them that is extra special to us.  Rosie is Lowretta's mama and what a good one she is.   Even in the midst of giving birth in the puppy mill with no prenatal care and in conditions that I've heard made some physically sick, she still a puppy herself really,  she did all she could to give her babies a good start.  Then thankfully rescue stepped in immediately and it was a happy ending for all but one of the babies.

    Rosie is a gorgeous houndie who I'm thankful passed on some of those genes to Lowretta and I feel Lowretta's sweet and gentle temperament came from her Sweet Rosie Mama also.

    Cheers to you, Mama Rosie.  We love you and are so glad you have got to be a youngster again and not have to have more babies!!!!
