[Dailydrool] Basil - The Exorcist

First of all, I want to say how much I am enjoying this year's calendar!
It just seems to get better each year.  The names and captions are a
riot.  I know that I'm biased, but Bassets are truly the most beautiful
creatures on the planet!

Yesterday, we had a scary experience with our 7 year old boy Basil.  He
has allergies and gets a time released shot of Prednisone every few
months.   He was outside eating grass which usually signals that his
tummy is upset and he is going to urp at some point.  He came in the
house and a little bile came out but nothing else.  He hopped up on the
couch and a few minutes later starting making little snorting noises.
We turned to look at him to see what was going on and both of his eyes
were covered by those membranes - it was really freaky.  A few minutes
later his sister Lucy started barking at something out the window and he
joined her.  He seemed fine and had no more episodes.  Has anyone heard
of this happening?
