[Dailydrool] Ernie Friendly Basset Mix is 25000th Dog on Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin

There was a celebration in St. Louis yesterday for Ernie the Basset mix adopted by a nice young couple from Kansas City Missouri. Ernie was celebrated as the 25000th dog to be given a second chance by being put on the Petsmart Rescue Waggin. Ernie was saved from a kill shelter in Tennessee where he had little interest by adopters, so he was picked up by PetSmarts Rescue Waggin and was taken to Kansas City, to Wayside Waifs and given a chance at a loving home. His mom and dad are the same couple who are fostering Copper from Western Missouri Basset Rescue, Inc. Copper's foster family is famous how cool is that! Five years ago PetSmart started its rescue Waggin program.
