This is the first year (and we are living in a new place) that we have been having problems with ticks. I have always used Advantage on the boys for flea prevention. It has worked better than Frontline for us with the fleas. So I switched to Advantix, which claime to do both fleas and ticks. However, I am not happy with its effectiveness. I probably have to pick two or three live ticks off each dog daily. Is Frontline better? Or another brand? Or is this about as effective as any of them get? Val, Bo, and Harley in Hawaii
