[Dailydrool] Morning with the dogs

First of all the dogs got up early.
Then Cooper,who was acting weird last night, was acting weirder this
morning, went out and would not come in to eat--sitting way out in the yard.
I had to go get him and began checking systems-- finally ended up doing
anals at 5 in the morning. I don't know if that's the whole thing or not. He
had clearly been chewing. I gave him a little Pred to stop the inflammation
and itchies. I think he got thrown off on the trip, not eating right and not
drinking enough and not exercising properly.

Then I noticed Conley rubbing his head on the floor and sitting with his
head cocked.Ummmm.....ears...... Oh my ...!!!! What a mess his left ear
was!! Poor doggie! So we cleaned ears at 6. I put a dab of cortisone cream
in each ear when I was done and gave him part of a pred. I worry that
shaking their heads will cause a hematoma, the last thing I want on a
prospective show dog.

Someplace in between there I started the dishwasher, which is a portable
one-- has to be wheeled to the sink and attached, all of which I did. Let it
run, went back out to do something in the kitchen and suddenly realized I
had never turned the water on.... so it is running now.

It is going to be that kind of day.
