[Dailydrool] drool, please

it seems as though Buddydawg needs to be on needing drool side of the fence 
instead of the sending drool side...he has had what appears to be a UTI for 
the past several weeks and it has been treated with anitbiotics...a culture 
showed white cluster cells and red cells, but nothing specific for 
treatment...the vet put him on augmentin for two weeks and then a followup culture 
due right after thanksgiving, and, if necessary, an ultrasound after 
that...an xray showed what appears to be a prostate, but he is neutered, so that 
shouldn't be there...he is really tough to get meds into, as you may have read 
my previous post on that issue, and so he is not getting his antibiotic as 
needed, nor his arthritis meds, nor his tramadol, as for the past two days he 
is refusing almost anything that looks like food, other than treats...he is 
drinking water...and so there is nothing to hide the meds in...i think he 
is suspicious of everything at this point...anyway, this afternoon he has 
started to upchuck just once (some food that held the am dose of augmentin) and 
a peice of swiss cheese later on...tomorrow morning we have an appt with Dr 
Luke, the vet, and would appreicate some problem solving drool from any who 
can spare it....Buddydawg is about 12 years old, handsome and sweet and 
very clever and is a tristate rescue who has been mine for the past 6 
years...thanks...Rene'e
