[Dailydrool] FEEDING A RELUCTANT HOUND

bubbydawg has been having some issues with meds for a UTI that caused him 
not to eat at all and not to poop...meds were changed and now he is pooping 
almost normal, but not really eating...i think he is suspicious of meds in 
his food...have been thru peanut butter, cream cheese, liverwurst, blue 
cheese, bologna and spam and now have been successful with boiled ham, sliced 
thin...a little meat given plain twice, than one small peice with his tramadol 
in it...the trick is a small enough peice of ham to conceal the pill, but not 
big enough that it needs to be chewed...this has been working...the 
antibiotic is a larger pill and doesn't work with the ham, but i give him a little 
bit of canned dog food hand fed, and then a little more with the pill...so 
far so good...hope it helps you get some meds into your hound too...they are
