[Dailydrool] Regarding Tremors

I've not had a dog with tremors, but I had a Siamese cat with them. In his
case, it was a neurological problem from birth. Easy to diagnose,
impossible to treat. He lived with it and considered it normal.

My husband, however, gets hand tremors every 3-4 months that last for a few
weeks. It gets so bad that I once watched the toast with raspberry jelly
land jelly down on the bedroom carpet, to be joined within minutes with the
cup of coffee. He just lost hold of them as his hand jerked up - and down
they came. Sometimes he just eats a lot of sandwiches rather than things
that require a fork.

He's had test after test, and no reason has been found. It always goes
away, only to reappear months later. So if it goes away and they find no
reason, don't be surprised. I was told that tremors are a part of so many
different physical ailments that frequently the cause is never discovered.

Good luck.
