[Dailydrool] North Texas Basset Hound Rescue - The Shuffle

Well it's about time again for the North Texas Basset Hound Rescue Shuffle!  The Shuffle will be held on September 19th from 8:30 to 1:00 at Chisholm Park in Hurst, TX.  (2200 Norwood, Hurst, TX).  We hope that anyone in the area will stop on by.  We have a great day planned.  There will be Tracking, Obedience and Agility Demos - all featuring Basset Hounds - even the obedience!!!  There will be contests: Best Costume/Hat, Biggest Paw, Lowest to the Ground, Weenie Toss, 10 yd. Dash, Longest Ears and the Howling Contest with the radio station, The Wolf.  There will be lots of Basset "Stuff" to buy and a great raffle.  Lunch will be available for all who register.

This is our annual fundraiser in the park, and we can really use your help this year.  NTBHR has taken in 15 dogs from a puppy mill bust in July and we are just full up.  So please come out and visit and just have a great time while supporting rescue!
