[Dailydrool] reading the drools

Momma here, reading the drools, and oh so glad to hear from Laura!!!!! Some days get so busy that I have to scan the drools rather than read every word and Laura always "condences" the action. Okay now where is everyone else--in fact Elwood, get your toebones over here tell us something, the drools are tugging hard on my heart the past few days, our thoughts are with everyone.



Sedation---Brudder Elwood. We have to sedate him and well worth it. He is the worst of the worst and no idea why, but he becomes wild and very nasty. This gives everyone involved not only time to work on him, but it is much easier on him too. He had his done last week in fact, I dropped him off, they did keep him several hours to make sure he was okay, he came home very woosey, but his toebones we lovely, and the next day he was back to normal. For those with the "Elwood Toebone" issue-I sure recommend it.



Beth, we are so sorry you are in this heart breaking position-and just my opinion, but I would call your friend.? Needed vacation or not, I would call and let her know and go from there. I can only say this because when hubby and I went to Slobberfest-and this was the first time in 5 years we had been somewhere together over night and left the dogs with folks coming here to take care of them-I knew when I walked out the door that there was a chance that something would happen, and we would need to come home (it did not-but)----to me this is a call you need to make. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers-such a difficult time for you----



Scratching---Brudder Jake went and seen Doc Alex last night. He looked terrible, felt miserable and got a cortizone shot and antibiotics----and a toebone cutting-yes he was a good boy--and we see he is feeling better already. 



That's all ---for now-the gang is milling about looking for the morning bowl, and Elwood is putting his cooking apron on-
