[Dailydrool] Sophie, the actress

Miss Angela Basset must be pawing Sophie b/c she has turned into quite the actress :)

Yesterday morning Sophie didn't want to eat breakfast.  At lunch I gave her some fresh kibble, but she still wasn't interested.  She was interested in a biscuit though.  I thought she wasn't feeling well so I sat down on the pillows with her and she laid her head on my leg.  I hand fed her a few pieces of kibble and then left her to eat the rest.  She didn't eat it, but she did run the Basset 500 out in the yard with Holly.  At dinner time she was the first one in line for her food bowl.

Later in the evening I was leaving the kitchen when Sophie came over and held her front paw up, not putting any weight on it at all.  The only way to be able to sit with Sophie alone is to gate Holly in the kitchen with Nancy and bring Sophie into the living room.  So that's what I did.  I watched Sophie walk and everything looked to be okay.  I sat down on the floor with her and checked her all over.  Then she took off running and I knew she was fine.  She just wanted some alone time and figured out how to get it.

She has only been here for 7 weeks, but sure knows how to get my attention...LOL
