[Dailydrool] Grooming

That is just stage stuff. We had several dogs that came in on a regular
basis that had to have mohawks. Often they were painted. We had special
paints and let me tell you it is hard to do without getting it all over the
place. Dogs do not stand happily while you paint their heads. Most don't
even want their nails done.
Be glad your Bassets would have you involuntarily committed if we ever tried
to dye them funny colors. Conley looked weird enough when he rolled in the
freshly mown grass and turned black, tan and green.

MomPerson to Nigel, Llewis, Conley and Cooper, who stays black no matter
what we do.
