[Dailydrool] A lazy afternoon

The houndage is quietly waiting for dinner to be served.  It is nice here, about 80 and everyone is drowsyish. The teenage slave is home today, the end of Easter break and is messing with the girls.  He just picked Maggie up from the couch and rolled her so she was belly up in his arms.  Not a whimper or complaint.  Got a belly rub.  Marley wanted in on the fun so he picked her up next.  She is never quiet.  She snarls lie something is about to eat her and then sort of whimper growls like a fussy baby while Nic holds her and rubs her tummy.  Ninja is not too sure and runs to get in the chair.  Shelby is asleep in her donut and probably can't hear what is going on.  The cat are trying to escape through the back screen door and all is normal here.  

 

We lost the cats for a couple hours yesterday.  They love to go out in the backyard and hide under the rose bush that has three million thorns that reach out and grab.  Ninja can let everyone in when they have had enough of the back yard.  The trouble is, she also lets the cats out and if we don't see them go, then we don't know how long they have been exploring.  They are getting braver as time goes on and we really had to hunt to find them last night.  The son who bequeathed them to us would not be amused if they disappeared, even though I did not want to take them at the time.  

 

Next project is fixing the screen so Ninja's snooter doesn't fit in a niche that allows her to open the door and let things in and out.  Where is that duct tape???

 

We hope all had a wonderful Easter and got to do whatever Eastery things your family does.  

 

We are sending drool to all in need from Ninja-I just bein helpful letting us in and those white pestes out, Marley--Stay outta my way an no one gets gwumped on,  Maggie-I don knows how to open da door.  I not too bwite but i lubbs eberybody, and Shelby-Don mess wif my nappies.  I gotsta hab about 6 a day.  A girl hasta keep up her beawtimous sweep somehow.  I fewl a snack comin on.  And the mom who tries to keep them all straight and found.
