[Dailydrool] Lawn & Other Chemicals

You may have read about 2 little sisters (4 and 15 months) who died in Utah due to the misuse of a rodent
poison the family was assured was sate by the exterminator. The EPA came out with some guidelines this week-apparently several children died. I am absolutely certain pets have died if children have, but they probably don't keep track.
When I had a crawling baby, an exterminator wanted to spray my inside baseboards with something that would kill mice for 6 months-- I passed.
My lawn out front looks pretty good, but the back is dog world and if there are a few weeds that I don't
dig up by hand, that's OK--there's probably dog poop, too.
I think a lot of this stuff is more poisonous than they let on. There are some canyon areas here they aerial spray for gypsy moths--and not only do I not walk my dogs there--I don't go there, either.
