[Dailydrool] Human Drugs for Dogs

So I love MomPerson cuz she is right 99% of the time (just as often as Benadryl is effective!).  PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOGS ANY HUMAN DRUGS UNLESS THE VET SAYS IT IS OK.

 

I just got scared of a posting re Robitussin DM given to a dog.  I do not know that this is OK so I must assume it is not.

 

Benadryl is very safe for doggies - 1 mg per lb of weight - allergic reactions - itchies - swellings - you can safely give your dogs Benadryl - usually 1-2 25 mg tablets for a Basset.

 

I have also heard that PEPCID AC is nice and safe for dogs' tummies - as is GAS-X.  But please, please do not give your dogs any human meds your vet has not approved!!!
