[Dailydrool] Today Otis is SIX

Today is Otis's sixth burfday. We will celebrate with a rousing PBF  
chorus of "99 Biscuits of Beef on the Wall (99 biscuits of beef...)".
(I see that today's calendar boy Winston is considering toasting with  
a real brew, also!
Our Otis is unusual in being a rescued puppy, turned over to NEBHR as  
a stray when he was a very young puppy. The vet records were able to  
date his birthday to today (or up to Aug 15...). We adopted him a  
couple months later, and it has been an All Otis Extravaganze since  
then.
Otis is a proud OEBE (Panjandrum of Pandemonium), a slayer of  
electrical cords (twice, on the new Dyson), and bed hog. He has been  
foster brother to 9 hounds, a counter cruiser pro, and devious deviser  
of mirthful mischief. He is a glaucoma survivor (so far)(one eye,  
anyway), a former team member of the Prairie Poopslingers hockey  
league, and most recently has taken on the weighty responsibilities as  
Secretary of Steak for the Pacific Basset F(l)eet. He has several  
speshul DD gurlfurends and loves to woof at DD videos, roll in deer  
poop, and nap with his 5-in-the-sky.

We love him unabashedly, an endearing, stoic, joyful mentor in the art  
of how to live well.
