Muldoon here.  Maggie you need to continue to reinforce your Basset training.  Wherever you want to barf up Cicadas is the right place.  Beds are a good spot.  Mompersons are slow and need repetitive training.  I do not know what a Cicada is.  But if it is juicy and slimy and green and once wiggled they are good to play with.  Do not forget turds.  They are always around for training and snacking.
