[Dailydrool] They did it again/Lakes

Since the dogs managed to get double dinner the other day I have been more careful.
 
I came in from my late shift to be met by dogs who swore they hadn't been fed since the morning. In fact, they were sure I had forgotten to feed them before work even. One daughter was out with friends, the other was upstairs. So, I checked with Upstairs Daughter if she had fed the dogs. Nope.
 
So I fed them.They ate it double quick - well it was an hour late.
 
Next morning, my other daughter said "Oh, I forget to tell you, I fed the dogs before I went out....."
 
The Lake Elder Clara story made me laugh, but it also reminded me of a rescue Afghan we had when I was a youngster. My doG she was like the source of the River Nile when she had accidents. One day, for whatever reason, my dad looked up the translation of her kennel name, Kinjhan Salana (or something very close). it meant mother of all rivers.We laughed for days.
