The trap between the cabinets snapped. It bounced. It hit the duct tape
across the opening. Nigel was there INSTANTLY. I have rarely seen Basset
move that fast and with one flash of his huge paw he had it: the trap, the
dead mouse, the duct tape dangling and off he went, with Two in hot pursuit
and one barking hysterically and one screaming NIGELGETBACKHEREDAMNIT!!!
