Why... RICHIE ... really.. the answer *IS* Obvious...

you bought the orthopedic mattress for yourself, it was the largest you
could find an only comes down to your thighs above the back of your knees,
but it is better than the two lumps in your human bed, WHICH is where BOTH
the dogs are sleeping.. 

the cheap three sided dog bed you bought so people wouldn't ask why you've
"only got one doggie bed when you have two dogs?"
