Part of the gang gets bones as part of their raw diet and the rest get supplemented with raw as a treat and to help keep the tartar of their teeth.

The Dog House Gang Rules on Bones
1. The gang never, ever, ever get cooked bones. Cooking changes the
bones molecular density causing it to harden. When the bones harden
with the heating process, the furkid digestive system is unable to break
them down.
2. All Beef and Bison bones are naturally harder but so are the large
supporting bones of many of the bigger animals. The high density bones
can cause tooth breakage or tiny microscopic fractures in the teeth, leading
to those high dental bills. The gang does get beef ribs but as soon as they
are finished cleaning them off the bone gets taken away.

The gang will give up there bare bones easily as they know the only way to
get the second "ribby" is to give Momma the first one. When the second one
is finished they give it back in hopes they can trick me into a third. They never
give up and I get the bare bones without a fuss.

We have been in lurker mode lately but are prayers and drool have been going
out for all those in need. Mr. Morse would you please leave those "kitty krunchies"
stay on the ground. I know they are appetizing but not worth the you getting sick
and all the stress you put your Mom through.

Droolz,
Karen and The Dog House Gang
Who are on their second nap of the day and it is only 10:05 in the morning,
except for Nelly Belle who is still dreaming away from last night.
