[Dailydrool] Birthday

'S me, Amy, pawing in to talk about my foster sister. Today is her birthday and Mom says we're having steak tonight. Yay!! Hailey (my sister) is one year old today. We've only had her about 2 weeks and she's already been adopted. That's okay though cause Mom already brought home a new baby sister for me last night and named her Isabella.  She's pretty, but Mom says she still loves me best and depends on me to help teach the babies how to get along in Basset Society. Mom says I'm good at taking care of babies cause of the way those Other People treated me before I came to live with my Mom. They left me all alone in an empty house with my four babies with no food or water. I took care of my babies and some nice people rescued us and then my mom adopted me and some other people adopted my babies. It's been a long time ago now, but I still remember how scared I was so I try to help Mom teach the new guys how to behave. Mom says I give too much detail and get off the subject. Hmpff, lot she knows.

Mom here.  Yes today is Hailey's birthday and the furkids are getting hamburger (not steak) for dinner tonight. Hailey is such a sweet little girl and her new mom is in for a treat. I will miss her, but we did pick up Isabella last night for 4 the Hounds, and there are 2 others we will be getting in the near future. 

Amy is a real gem. She is my sweetheart and I couldn't foster if it weren't for her. She never complains when I bring in another basset but takes them under her wing and helps make them feel at home. She teaches them all the things a good basset should know (like the Basset 500, how to counter cruise, and how to develop "The Look" so they can rule their slaves, among other things.)

Drool to everyone and sad ahroos for those who have left us for the Bridge.
