I've traveled that stretch of I-70 hauling dogs (especially bassets) between
St. Louis and Indiana.  Though the speed limit is 70, most vehicles zip
through there much faster.  Now whenever I travel that stretch of I-70 I
will remember this story.

I always believe that everything happens for a reason.  This story is a
great example of that.  Amazing Grace is one lucky basset!  I hope you have
many years with your little furry souvenir from Illinois.
