Oh Melissa,

I just wanted to express how sorry I am over your recent losses .... I can't
imagine the pain of losing a houndie, much less two in such a short, short
time.  I am sure you are taking solace in the fact that Basil and Lucy are
together again, but that doesn't make it hurt less.

We're thinking of you here in Richmond, VA and sending heart healing
drooling your way.
