[Dailydrool] Frank the Tank, and the skunk, sort of.

Bill took Frank on his usual mile-long walk around the neighborhood this morning; they were both grateful for the 40-degree weather and a bit of sunshine. It's been below freezing here in central Virginia for over a month, and there is still lots of snow left over from before Christmas! Anyway, Bill smelled the remnants of skunk spray along the way, and when he got home, he realized Frank smelled all SKUNKY! Bill thinks Frank sniffed a "dark spot on the road" over by "where those Labs live", and in doing so, Frank dipped his ear-tips in skunkness. ICK! 

We've washed Frank's ears in Dawn dishwashing soap a couple of times, and the smell is still there - not awful, but there nonetheless. As I am typing this, Frank is asleep on our bed with his head on My Pillow! I'm sure I'll have to put my pillow outside and find another one in a couple of hours when we get ready to go to bed!      

The Worst Part is that we spent $45 yesterday on a long-overdue grooming/bath appointment for Frank - yesterday he smelled sweeter than he has in a while...oh, well, at least he didn't meet the skunk face-to-face!
