[Dailydrool] nose color question

We returned from our Greece trip and picked up  Eugene from his doggie  
day care boarding. He had actually lost some weight from playing with  
dogs all day long and looked great. What was surprising however, was  
that his liver colored nose had turned much more black looking. At  
first I thought it might be dirt from all his running around outside,  
but it's definitely a blacker color. I've read about pink noses  
turning black, but not much about liver turning blacker. We were gone  
13 days--would appreciate any experience anyone might have had with a  
nose color. He's in fine shape so I don't think it's anything to worry  
about, but was just curious if anyone else had experienced this.
