[Dailydrool] Mail order meds

I did mail order Tucker's (ATB) potassium bromide from Dr Foster's pharmacy. The med didn't have to
be refrigerated. I did talk directly to the pharmacist because this was a med that had to be made by the
pharmacist. I am not a chemist but I can tell you I did smell and taste it to see if it was the same.
Yep...it was nasty. I saved a ton of money over the vet's price. ($45/mo at the vet vs $18 for 3 months).
I also used Wal Mart Pharmacy for his tramadol and other "human type" meds.

My recommendation is if it has to be refrigerated then don't use mail order. Too much can happen that
can delay the length of time it takes to get to you. Talk to the pharmacsit at the mail order pharmacy. If you
are not allowed to talk to them then do not order from them. Check to see if Wal Mart carries the med and what
it costs. I have saved a lot of money going to Wal Mart. You can also talk with some of the Mom/Pop pharmacies
to see what they charge but in my experience they are more expensive.
