Kathie,
According to the Improvement Catalog the
Medium (Legs not included) 35 1/2" x 25" with 75lb capacity
Large (Legs not included) 43 1/2" x 32" with 160lb capacity
The legs stick out anouther 3-4 inches.
So here is the rest of the story. Auntie Val gave her "barko-lounger" to
Colt & Ruger because she said the large one was to big for where she wanted
to put it. Colt is now barking & rolling all over it to put his mojo on it
and claim it and his!! He is a silly houndie. Now Ruger is trying to get on
it and they are mock fighting, playing king of the bed! These guys crack me
up.

Ruth,
You go Girl!!!! It is a proven fact that dogs help heal humans, they provide
comfort, compaionship, and love. Why else would they have therapy dogs??? It
is a scientific fact that just stroking a dog lowers blood pressure...and
yes bassets, from a previous drool conversation may at times raise it...but
overall I think that they are good for us. I dare someone to come and try
to take my hounds!!! They will be met with a .38 between their eyes!!!
You'll take my hounds when you pry my cold dead hands off of them!!!
OOOkkkayyy enough ranting. How about this. If your sisters don't think
that you can mange how about getting a Home health care nurse/tech? Someone
to come in once a day (or when needed) to check on you, and help you do
anything that you need help with. I apologize if I have over steeped my
bounds...just trying to help. And it gets me riled up when folks start
trying to tell someone to get rid of their dog. Anyhow. I hope that that
you are feeling better, the boys will be sending heart healing and diabetes
controlling drool to you.

Marlene, We are so glad that you are okay...NO brakes how scary!!! Must have
be one heck of a ride? Has your heart started beating again yet?
