In reference to the Head Halters, and Harnesses, the best are made by Premier and are called Gentle Leaders.  Keep in mind these are SELF CORRECTING!  When a head halter is being used never jerk the leash as this can cause damage to the dogs neck and spinal region.  If a dog is pulling the head halter automatically redirects the dogs head back toward the human, thus the "self correcting" so jerking of the leash is counter productive and potentially dangerous.  These are great positive training tools when used correctly.
