Momma here, I am asking for healing drool for Elder Clara, we are in
trouble here--Elder Clara has a abscessed molar, which under "normal"
circumstances, would mean zip that hummer on out, drugs, and all tails
up. Not so much here with Elder Clara, she has her age, her heart, and
more age yet against her. Yesterday, after work I came downstairs and
her face just looked a whisker different on one side of her face,
slight swelling under her eye, and it also struck me that she has been
more hateful than usual with me putting her eyedrops in. I suspected a
tooth issue, and hoped I was wrong.
Of course the girls Kathy, Amanda, and Kathleen got us right in and
since our usual Doc was not there, we seen Doc G---now he is the Doc
that helped Ol Bob to the bridge last month, so seeing Clara raised
more than a eyebrow. Elder Clara decided to go head to head on the
exam, and to be honest, this was a sight. I said she will bite you
Doc--he looked at me like--what that sweet old gal???---He advanced and
sure as it could be, Clara went after him. We reqrouped, got a cage
basket muzzle on her, I pinned her down with my legs--she was now in
full attack mode--and Doc finally got his pen in there to lift her lip
and got a quick glance as she left her marks on the pen. He went back
to reviewing her chart, all the notes from her cardiologist, from her
bout with pancreatitis, and he is now moaning, he is grabbing his face,
his head, going oh my, oh no, this is not good,--well after a few
deserved words, he braced himself against the wall, and said this is
not good. Putting her under to remove the tooth is a issue, and since
she won't let us take a better look, he cautioned us that sometimes
these things are cancer, not only the tooth. It is number 4 molar--I
think--I know its a molar with 3 roots-I was getting numb at this
point--so I took the deep breath and said what are her chances. He gave
her a 65/70 percent chance of living thru the operation. To add more
fuel to the fire, she was already on Clavamox,--I now needed oxygen for
Doc since we see where this is heading--so we are on a plan of
clyndamiacin, and we are trying this over the weekend, to see if by
chance this will help, but there is the risk that the abcess will
burst--ect--ect----.
Doc is not aware of the power of drool, but this Momma is--and I am
asking please,if there is a drip or a drop out there, we can use it. I
know the odds could be worse, but I am scared. Last month took its toll
here---
As for Clara----eating drinking, roaring at the Brudderz,
thankfully--she mentioned that she still has work to do helping other
seniors, and I took this as a good sign, but I am also aware of all her
medical issues. I know that Queen Olive had a similar issue last year,
and came thru well, so hopefully Clara will following her lead.

I thank you in advance, and so does Elder Clara--
