[Dailydrool] Bassets and blood pressure

The bassets we have now are very calm and soothing most of the time.  They love to be stroked and love to be close to their humans.  When we had Sunny, she was not soothing at all.  She was always a basset bomb ready to go off.  But we loved her hornery little self anyway.  

 

All of the hounds are in here with me.  They stick pretty close at night.  Shelby is oinking.  Probably wants her 10th treat of the day.  She is very demanding when she wants something.  Just oinks or moos and then bellows.  Ninja is out for the count.  She has been asleep for hours.  Resting up so she can climb the stairs to go to bed.  Davinci kitty is in here too.  He likes to keep an eye on all the canines just in case he needs to get one of them.  Picasso is hiding at present.  We just hope he is in the house somewhere.  They love to dart out if we leave the door open too long.  Or long enough to get a dawdling basset in.  

 

Marley is itching again so we will have to make a trip to the vet this week for more antibiotics or something.  She started early this year.  I just wish we knew what caused it.  The vet thinks it is grass and pollen and leaves.  Hard to avoid those if you are a lowrider. 

 

Maggie is dreaming of chasing something.  She is out for the count too.  Maybe these guys do aerobics when I am not looking.  Or maybe they are just very, very lazy.  BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Gotta go get in the bed before anyone else does.  Then I will have somewhere to put my feet.  Without kicking anyone.
