Golden Empire Basset Rescue was called to take in a basset hound.  The family had found Copper and quickly realized they were in over their heads and their ability to help Copper.

We stepped in and took in Copper.  Copper is in very poor shape and is going to require long term medical care.

Copper is such a sweet boy and is starting to come out of his shell.  He wants to be by your side.  He is so happy to get attention that does not involve pain.  Regular meals are also a novalty for Copper.
