[Dailydrool] trouble brewing. Sex raises its ugly head (no pun intended)

The other day a gentleman I did not know walked past with this LITTLE dog--
like yorkie size-- my guys were outside and went BERSERK. I, at the time,
thought it was no worse than usual.
Later that evening he went by again and again the dogs-- in the house-- were
flinging themselves at the windows..harsh words and actions were required to
get them to stop. Later I let Cooper out the front to get into the car and
quite atypically instead of charging for the Van at full speed he headed
down the street, nose to the ground.
Uh Oh. Ears nearly touching, tail wagging at the tip down low.......I know
that look. That little yorkie is in season!!
So this morning I camped out front and sure enough here he come and I said
excuse me is that a female? And he grins and says yes, looking at all 4 of
my males pounding on the window, howling. I said is she in season? and he
said Oh yes, but she doesn't like anyone. She is saving herself.
I said what do you mean?
Well he had had a couple of loose dogs come near her and she drove them off
so he knows she will be safe.
I said, how long has she been in season?
Well, he wasn't absolutely certain. This is her first season and he thinks
about a week.
Are you showing? (I knew he was not by the coat trim)
No no, but we are looking for a male poodle so we can breed Yorkie-poos.
(Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
He is getting nervous now, watching the window inthe front of my house
bulging under the combined assualt of the Boys.

I tried to explain but he is bound and determined to make money raising
Yorkie poos. I told him it would be a good idea not to walk down this street
because there were two dogs in there perfectly willing and able to make
Basseyorks. He LAUGHED. I said she is driving males away because she isn't
ready but when she is ready she will breed with anything. No,no nono,.
(laugh) she'll know the right dog. We have a male Lab and she won;t have
anything to do with him. He just follows her around. I said-- he will get
her and then you have a problem with a little dog bred to a much larger dog.

He started off and said "No, they're housemates-- they would never do that."

It took me 45 minutes to get the boys calmed down and she peed all over the
front yard....

MomPerson, pounding her head on a wall.
