[Dailydrool] Frank and Tina are at loose ends. . .

Yesterday (Sunday) was a gorgeous day, sunny, cool, perfect day for a basset to be outside, as Frank and Tina were, all day long. So, at 7:00 they retired to the king-sized bed we all four sleep on together. Fine. Except that Tina, and then Frank, were DONE SLEEPING and wanted to get UP at 4:30 am (way too early for us humans on a Monday morning, especially since the Sunday Night football game was so riveting!). After an hour and a half of listening to F+T fidget, jump off the bed, walk around, jump back on the bed, we finally got up at 6:30 - normal time, except we'd both lost that precious 90 minutes! So, tonight, there's the dreaded Gate across the bedroom door, and tonight (7:30 pm), F+T are wandering around like lost puppies. They both Want To Go To Bed, meaning in the Big Bedroom, but we slaves are hoping that keeping them out here where the "action" is will at least keep them out of that deep slumber until our more reasonable bed-time of around 10:30. It doesn't help that the moon has been very bright, and that it looks like daytime way before it should.
