Mussie Gussie you are the kwuelest old dude!  Sixteen years old is  pretty 
wonderful. We loves to see ya loping around the off leash park doing your  
thing....
 
Big Bootiful boy with the biggest black nose and long longgggg  earpans!  
Yeah Happy Birthday Gus! 
 
Once I knew a Basset named THURBER who almost reached the grand old age of  
21...Gussie I hope you are gonna get to be here with us a longgggggg  
time,,,,,, while and the important thing ... a long while AND PRETTY  HAPPY... 
happy all the while. 
 
Nobody sniffs like Gus...he goes like a sort of crazy rocket snoofing  and 
snoofing here there and everywhere.
 
The world is a gladder place because of Gus. Hooray! Happy Birthday Big  
Guy! We loved to hear how you spent yer Birthday! That was fun! We loved 
having  Talulah and Wally for a sleep over...but that Tallulah,,,she us a biG 
huge BED  HOGG!
