Talking
Miss Becky loved to talk.  When walking with a friend (we both loved to 
talk) she would join
in with a high and low note, a small howl and also she would bark as well.
A basset that barked when happy.  One day we and a friend went for a very 
long walk and back .  Next
time out she ran to dish and ate like mad.  I guess she got hungry and 
wasn't taking any chances by
stoking up before we left. She did it to the end
