What about DES tablets (estrogen)  for dogs that suffer from incontinence. 
I know a lot of people favor Proin over the DES tablets, but for me the DES
tablets have always worked better and cost less.  My 11.5 year old Basset
has been on them since she was 7.  She only takes one now every 3 weeks and
it keeps her dry.  In the beginning, she had to have it a lot more often,
but I was able to tweak it to what was right for her and now it is just 1
every 3 weeks.   Just a thought.
