Do any of you recommend a good diet food?  My 4 year old male is  
currently on 2 cups of Avoderm a day,  1 cup morning, 1 cup evening.

I give him very few treats, mainly one half can of no salt green  
beans.  He just seems to be hungry all the time.  I have tried Diet  
Avoderm, but his coat and skin became dry.

He has gone from shelter dog weight of 52 pounds to 58 pounds.   We  
live in Texas and have had brutal heat, so it's very hard to walk him  
very far.
