[Dailydrool] Maybe it's the weather

Yesterday John left his work gloves in the middle of the dining room table,
from which a Basset, probably Conley, liberated them. Cooper took one and
Llewis, who loves soft things and will lay and nibble with just his incisors
on a soft toy for hours, absconded with the other. Cooper gave his back,
albeit reluctantly. Llewis had no intention of surrendering his as he
usually does. Instead he ran around the table and between my legs and around
the house a few times until John offered him a treat. He weighed his
options. You could see the struggle and then, with a muffled whoof he took
off again-- better the glove than a treat! (It has cooled off considerably.)
He tore around the house awhile with the others following, then settled in
for a good long nibble. Unfortunately his nibbling leaves holes in things,
and I was forced to remove the glove manually. Not that he objected much. It
was fun seeing Llewis all happy and playful and mischievious again.
