Your husband/you  worrying you  won't get attached to another basset.   Well 
it seems disloyal
to the one gone but it is a major compliment to the one gone too. You can't 
live without them.
And being bassets you sometimes see the ATB basset in their antics. Bassets 
are like cats
they worm their way into your life quickly esp if they think you don't like 
them.
I can't get another one after losing Miss Becky but it sure helps and gives 
another hound a
loving home
