[Dailydrool] Tracker my have hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis

I don't often ask for drool but my 7 year old Tracker could use some.  Had some vomiting the day before but he appeared to get over it but then it all happened again with bloody stool so into the Vet this morning. Also concerned about dehydration. Waiting to pick him up later but they did x-rays, blood tests/panel and put in an IV. All  checked out but they ruled everything out but HGE. He'll come home with a capped IV but will be subcutaneus hydrating. Will bring him back in tomorrow for re-evaluation and maybe more fluids. Whew!!! Can't wait to get my baby home. If you want a chuckle, they sent the x-ray to a specialist and their comment was that there was no blockage but they noticed he may have a slight hip dysplacia in one hip. FYI-he did a 5 mile hike just fine last week. I had to remind them that he's a Basset.
