[Dailydrool] Belly band update; Bo of the nine lives

I am working on a no slip "belly band" model for Bo--will write more of this as I try it out, especially if it works.
Today was a nail-biter of a day. I took Bo to the vet's because he has some contact dermatitis on his Johnson from rubbing it on goodness knows where, and the vet said it felt like Bo had an enlarged liver now--so he took an x-ray. Yes, on the x-ray it looked like maybe an enlarged liver and two possible tumors in Bo's abdomen. So more tests, blood work, an ultrasound. We are now two hours into our vet visit. I am sitting in the waiting room with Harley, dabbing the tears off my cheeks discretely. Two and a half hours. The vet and Bo come out--Bo plops over on the floor into a power nap. Miracle--Bo has neither a grossly enlarged liver nor masses--he has a mild hepatitis from his medications, so a medication change is indicated. I am so relieved. Good thing since we really didn't need this $700 vet bill--but that is what credit cards are for. I am so grateful we will have this impossible but wonderful dog for awhile longer.
