Marilyn,
You absolutely did the right thing for the mastiff. I can not beleive they kept giving this so called owner another chance over and over. You are his angle they both needed you. When in rescue you do what you can and you can not always turn your back on the NBH. I will be sending you a donation for these 2. I hope others will too.
