Hi my friends

Tonight I spoke to my ex and he had a very sad intonation in his voice. As I said, until last week the heart pills were working fine and Xaxa was doing well but last Tuesday he started coughing again.
He has since, getting progressively slow. He stopped (2 days ago) to go downstairs, he is eating very little and only if dadperson feeds him slowly, and eating is one of his preferred thing in this world.
Yesterday he tried to bark to the neighbor (another loved pastime) but he couldn't because it makes him cough.
Today he walked around the house a bit but is mostly quiet, on one of his beds.
Dadperson and I cannot avoid the feeling that at 14.7 maybe he is getting tired of this life and needs to move over to another place.
Tomorrow Dadperson is taking him to the specialist, the one who became his only vet, and see if there is still something we can do like a higher dose of his meds or something else.
We have never gone through this but through the years I have seen here in the Drool many dear babies moving over to the next chapter of their lives and have shared their pain. It is not an easy time, I'm sure.
I'm trying to be rational, telling myself that every wqq one of us will move over one day, that is simply how life is and convince myself that at 14 years and 7 months of age, he has had the best life a Grand, sweet, charming and happy boy could have.
But who knows, maybe another medicine will making well again...
If you guys can continue to send lots of drool and prayers we will appreciate. We love him so much.
Drool to everyone that needs,
We love you guys.
Virginia, Xaxa, Violeta and da Dad
