[Dailydrool] Long Time Drooler

I rarely post but enjoy the stories every day in the drool.  I joined shortly after we got our first basset Barney Von Basket.  He was already named so we didn't change it.  That was around 1995, I have learned so much about bassets and laugh at the funny tails nearly every day.  Thank you Nancy for founding the DD, when I joined there were about 200 people on the list and member were limited by the server if I remember.  I know that many people keep the funnies going behind the scene, all of their work is greatly appreciated.  Even after losing Quincy last month, I still look forward to the drool.  

The olde days were far worse for the flames and heated discussion about many subjects.  I always wondered about members who got upset and left the drool because of a topic, just skip the post and go on.  Personal flames are another story and are not to be tolerated.  Some of the early bassets and owners were so silly and memorable, Moosie, Carouso, TBO, and so many others that have joy and sadness through this list. 

I thank all the people who helped us get through both of our bassets passing, the posts were touching and comforting, we are looking forward to seeing them again when our time is done. 

Thank you everyone who contributes and works behind the scene to keep the DD coming.
