[Dailydrool] my 2cents worth

I am for the most part a lurker but I read my drools every day,unless I am away from home where I don't have access to a computer.
 I would just like to say that I too love the drool and consider everyone here a part of my extended family. I have gotten more info ,laughs and tears from here than from my own human family.
 When my Bentley,and my MonCherie left for the bridge I got more sympathy and outpouring of love 
 from our dd family than I knew was possible. I too hope that the dd continues forever. Our Mods 
 a terrific job. None of us are exactly alike and we all have different opinions and none of us 
are perfect, that said I have a cute story to share.
 After many years of just the dh and I and our hounds being alone in the house we now have a house 
full again. We have one of our grown sons here since last july due to medical problems and in 
Sept. we acquired our Granddaughter,her husband and Great Granddaughter. We have always referred
to our bassets as our kids. Last week I was so sick I did nothing but lay around and asked the son to let kids out for me. He turned around and said to me "Mom are us kids dogs" and I said what do u mean? he said well why do u call the dogs ur kids and I said because they are.
