[Dailydrool] Furminator question

It's shedding time in our house. Rolph is quite polite about his hair loss - just a few extra dust dinos scooting round the floor - but Clara......OMD

Anyway, last year I bought a furminator. It isn't so great for Rolph - his long coat responds better to the old shedding comb - but for Clara it is fantastic. Every time it is used enough hair to make a spare basset appears.

But here's the question, it doesn't seem to matter how long she is furminated, there still seems to be more hair coming off. I am concerned I might make her sore by constant brushing, yet even after 30 mins of combing, little clouds of hair appear when she is stroked.

So, does anyone know how long I can keep combing her without hurting her? Or should I just comb her every day for shorter periods?
