[Dailydrool] Couches and Hounds

After the 2 girls (Lilie and Daffodil) took over the living room, they each 
had their own loveseat.  Daffodil chose to eat hers, so I finally had it 
hauled away and she spent her nights on pillows in the computer room with 
Daisy the Yorkie.  She may not be the brightest light in the room but she 
knew that she was not to go within a foot of Lilie's loveseat.

About 6 months ago I decided to buy a couch for myself - not for the 
hounds - and put it in the computer room.  I was quite sure that I would 
make it clear to the girls that the couch was mine, the pillows and blankets 
on the floor were theirs.

I believe that I've sat on the computer room couch just once by myself.  I 
sit there to rub tummies, to rub little pointy heads, to snuggle with one 
while the other barks loudly about the indecent amount of attention the 
other is getting.

I will never had a couch of my own since I'll always have dogs.  They do 
allow me to wash the blankets that cover the couch, however.  They 
appreciate a nice clean blanket.
